In late 2025, our Community Bank was approached by two impressive young locals – Kaylah Moon and Chance Powles. Their basketball talent was undeniable, but what really stood out was their passion and determination to create opportunities for themselves.

The girls had been invited on a basketball development tour to the USA, but like any international trip, the costs were significant. At just 17, they rolled up their sleeves and made it happen – running Bunnings BBQs, roast roll fundraisers, and plenty more to raise funds. We were more than happy to pitch it to bridge the gap and make the trip a reality.
